What You'll Learn
Ban (Fox's Sin of Greed)
Ban, also known as the Fox's Sin of Greed, is one of the seven members of the Seven Deadly Sins, an elite holy knight squadron in the Liones Kingdom. He is the husband of Elaine, the father of Lancelot, and the king of Benwick. Ban is a very tall, muscular man with pale tan skin, who possesses a set of well-developed abdominal muscles and usually has a slouch. He has short, spiky, light cyan hair and thin black eyebrows, and magenta red eyes. On the left side of his jaw and extending down to his neck, he has a large scar given to him by Meliodas.
Ban is a good-natured person but is also the Sins' most immortal member and infamous as a legendary bandit. He grew up having no choice but to steal from others to stay alive, and his knack for stealing eventually led him to meet Elaine. He wanted to drink from the Fountain of Youth, but although he came close to stealing it, he gave up on drinking it when he learned about the consequences. He fell in love with Elaine, and after she saved his life with the Fountain, he dedicated himself to finding a way to bring them both together again. As a reckless and greedy immortal, Ban often finds himself in situations that show off his inability to die.
Ban's primary ability is Snatch, which allows him to steal various things. Being an immortal, he has the benefit of being able to die but also has high endurance, stamina, high-speed regeneration, and durability. He also uses his ability in tandem with several staff-type weapons that augment his power, range, and versatility. Most of these weapons are three-sectioned staffs, while his sacred treasure, Courechouse, is a four-sectioned staff. He has also shown different techniques, including Physical Hunt, Fox Hunt, Hunter Festival, and Zero Sign. Physical Hunt allows Ban to sap the physical strength of a single target and add it to his own base strength. Fox Hunt is one of Ban's mid-to-long-range moves that allow him to precisely pinpoint the target's vitals and subsequently extract them from their bodies. Zero Sign allows Ban to completely mask his presence for a few seconds, making it ideal for a decisive sneak attack.
Ban was born in Ravens, a town full of thieves, human traffickers, and abusive parents. He lived by stealing from others and was constantly chased and beaten by those he stole from. Eventually, he was caught and sent to Aberdeen Prison, where he met Zhivago, a werefox who raised him and taught him how to steal. Ban escaped the prison with Zhivago and lived in his hideout, being fed by the man whenever they met up. After leaving his hometown, he found his way into the fairy forest, where he became the first human to have successfully obtained immortality, but it came at the cost of his beloved's life. Since then, Ban has spent the next four years of his life incarcerated, paying the price for a crime he didn't commit. That is, until he was saved by Meliodas and officially became a member of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Diane (Serpent's Sin of Envy)
Diane, also known as the Serpent Sin of Envy, is one of the main characters in the manga series, The Seven Deadly Sins. She is a Giant and member of the Seven Deadly Sins. Her power is Creation, which allows her to manipulate earth into any shape or form. She is also the wife of King.
Diane is a very friendly giantess and is also very confident regarding her abilities, appearing to generally consider Holy Knights as weak. She cares a lot about her captain and holds very strong feelings for Meliodas, often cuddling him and becoming very delighted from compliments. Her feelings are strong enough for her to overcome her fears for his sake. Diane can become extremely fierce and hostile towards anyone who threatens her friends. Diane also gets jealous when Meliodas does perverted things to other girls. In Japanese, she refers to herself with "boku", a word for "I" typically spoken by young males.
Due to her size, she cannot help Meliodas in any way other than fighting for him. She has expressed her strong desire to be smaller, contrary to Elizabeth's desire to be strong. Despite Diane stating that she has no interest in humans, she still selflessly saves people who are in danger, like when she risked her life to protect an elderly man in Vaizel and Zeal.
Despite her brave and strong appearance, Diane is a somewhat emotionally fragile person, as shown by her hatred of loneliness. This was portrayed when she was a child and insisted that King stays by her side when she was sick instead of getting herbs to heal her, and when she waited in tears for him to return to her. Diane showed the same kind of feelings towards Elizabeth after she was kidnapped by Vivian.
Diane was blamed for being jealous of Matrona and killing her. What actually happened was that knights tried to kill Matrona and Matrona saved Diane. Matrona also didn’t die. This is why she is called the sin of envy.

Gowther (Goat's Sin of Lust)
Gowther, the Goat's Sin of Lust, is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, a group of knights in a fictitious Britannia, set in a time period akin to the European Middle Ages. Gowther is revealed to be a doll created by a great wizard in the form of his old lover. Gowther is a former member of the Ten Commandments, serving as his creator's proxy. Gowther's sacred treasure is the Twin Bow, Herritt, which he uses in conjunction with his inherent power, Invasion.
Gowther is depicted as emotionless and socially inept, often performing highly questionable actions, such as manipulating the memories of others. He is first seen living under the alias Armand and travelling with a Holy Knight named Dale, whom he clad in his armour to contain the knight's transformation into a demon. Gowther is later revealed to be an animated doll created by a demon sorcerer forced to bear the Demon King's soul fragment, representing selflessness. Gowther received free will before helping his creator end the Holy War by rewriting Mael's identity.
Gowther was found in the cellar of Liones Castle by Bartra's sister, Princess Nadja, with whom he fell in love. Nadja was terminally ill, and she died while embracing Gowther. In a panic, Gowther tried to revive her by ripping out his magical heart and replacing Nadja's with it, to no avail. Gowther was then found by guards, who believed he was assaulting the princess, and he was sentenced to death for the sin of lust. Gowther discarded his magical heart and erased his own memories, choosing to live as a simple doll without the pain of feeling.
Gowther later joined the Seven Deadly Sins, wearing enchanted armour to better control his power. Gowther participated in the battle against the Vampires of Edinburgh, infiltrating their ranks and saving Diane and King. Gowther also fought alongside the other Deadly Sins against the Holy Knights of Liones, before being separated from the group for a time. Gowther eventually regains his emotions and memories, and his power levels increase significantly.

King (Grizzly's Sin of Sloth)
King, the Grizzly Sin of Sloth, is a character in the manga series "The Seven Deadly Sins", written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. The series is set in a fictitious Britannia, in a time period akin to the European Middle Ages. King is a fairy and the third king of the Fairy King's Forest. He is 1300 years old and is portrayed as the 'straight man' of the group, often getting caught up in the others' shenanigans.
King's real name is Fairy King Harlequin, and he bears the Sin of Sloth, symbolised by a grizzly bear tattoo just above his left ankle. The term "sloth" refers to spiritual or moral laziness, and a reluctance to work or make an effort. In the series, King is sentenced to 1000 years of imprisonment for failing to stop his friend Helbram from going on a human killing spree, and abandoning his duties as king. Centuries before this, King had left his domain to rescue Helbram from human abductors, during which he suffered amnesia-inducing injuries. After regaining his memories and realising that his amnesia was caused by Helbram, King is forced to kill his friend.
King is physically weak and unable to fight unarmed, but he possesses the ability to levitate and float through the air, as well as levitate certain objects without touching them. He also has a sacred treasure called the Spirit Spear Chastiefol, a transforming spear crafted from a sacred tree found only in the Fairy Realm. It is stronger than steel and has various forms, including a pillow that can act as a shield, different forms of spears, a large flower that projects an energy beam, and a large stuffed grizzly bear. King can change Chastiefol's form at will, drawing out its mysterious qualities.

Meliodas (Dragon's Sin of Wrath)
Meliodas, the Dragon Sin of Wrath, is the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins, the husband and lover of Elizabeth Liones, and the owner of the renowned tavern Boar Hat. He is also the current king of the Kingdom of Liones and the father of Tristan. Despite his adolescent appearance, Meliodas is over three thousand years old. He is exceptionally short, with messy blond hair and emerald eyes. He is ruthless, fearless, and has a strong sense of justice. He is also bawdy and loves to frequently crack jokes.
Meliodas is exceptionally powerful, with a skill in battle that is legendary. He is most well-known for his skills with the sword and his pure physical prowess, but he also has incredible magical abilities, notably his virtual immunity to magic attacks through his ability Full Counter. An example of his immense combat skills was when he overwhelmed both the ancient Fairy and Giant Kings, Gloxinia and Drole, simultaneously. The most noteworthy display of his power was when he unleashed his demonic powers in a desperate attempt to escape Melascula's Antan no Mayu, causing him to revert to his old self as the leader of the Ten Commandments. With his old personality in control, Meliodas has been seen to be easily annoyed and angered, being far more brutal, sarcastic, sadistic, and cruel than ever.
Meliodas' dominant traits are his frankness and utter fearlessness. He is also guilt-ridden over the fate of Danafor, saying that his sin was being unable to save the kingdom. He is enraged whenever someone tries to take his sword, and he has no qualms about killing. Despite his title as the Sin of Wrath, he maintains the facade of a very calm person. However, if his companions or friends are harmed in any way, he is shown to be capable of extreme rage.
Meliodas' power level increases in stages as the story progresses and is increased further whenever he utilizes his demon powers. Using Lostvayne, Meliodas can create a clone with a maximum power level of half of his power level. Creating more clones will cause that power to be equally distributed among them.
Meliodas has been afflicted with a curse by the Demon King as punishment for falling in love with a goddess and killing and betraying his demonic brethren. It revives him without fail no matter how many times he dies, whether via killing himself or getting killed. However, upon each revival, he slowly loses some of his emotions in exchange, slowly returning to his former self. The only way to lift it is for someone with power rivaling that of the Demon King and Supreme Deity to do so.
Meliodas and Elizabeth have a loving and friendly relationship, with Meliodas enjoying his time joking and teasing her. He frequently "checks" her panties, and even stole them once. He also gropes her rather frequently and without shame. However, it is shown that he does care about her strengths and considers her someone important to him. So far, Elizabeth (along with his broken sword) is the only thing that will unleash Meliodas' rage if either is taken or hurt.
Meliodas' Sacred Treasure is the Demon Sword Lostvayne, and his inherent power is Full Counter.
